GILE Guagzhou 2023

Request the program

We presented to you a few weeks ago the 2023 edition of the GILE trade show which marks its big comeback on the international scene after the very long Covid episode. Now all this is a thing of the past, and the 2023 edition to be held from June 9 to 12 looks more than promising, since it will be played almost sold out.

Beyond the extraordinary resilience of players in the lighting industry in all its forms, it is necessary to underline the inexhaustible dynamism of a sector in perpetual motion which never stops innovating, in order to meet specifications. ever more complex and equally ruthless regulatory requirements, under the constraint of climate change, compliance with environmental obligations and energy savings. Finally, at the end of the chain, there are the customers, the consumers, and these are not the last to want high-performance products. All this makes industrial problems ever more difficult to solve. Yet in the face of all these challenges, this industry is doing quite well. However, it must be recognized that Chinese manufacturers are very heavy. Large units have emerged in recent decades, whose export strike force has ensured their prosperity. However, after the pandemic episode, their leaders also turned more meaningfully to their gigantic internal market, encouraged by the public authorities. But this astonishing and explosive market is also a myriad of small, ultra-specialized manufacturers that perform very well in their activity. Thus, visitors and professional buyers will therefore be offered on the GILE, an exceptional range that covers all lighting needs, from that intended for communities to decoration. Faced with all these aspects, as diverse as they are varied, the show has decided to add its own touch by staging various themes divided into 9 platforms under the name Light+ Platform, in order to cover the depth and extent of lighting in all its forms, its challenges to be taken up, which everyone knows are vast.
